What stood out to me me as important was all of the positive feedback I got from my last
elevator pitch. I was extremely nervous to make the first video even though it was just me
and the camera. The feedback that surprised me the most was that people actually liked my idea and saw that it was a great idea and product. After doing the first elevator pitch and the interviews this one seemed to be a lot easier than before. Even after taking public speaking it was still kind of hard to make videos of myself. Now I seem comfortable while doing it.

I really liked your pitch and you were enthusiastic about your issue. You seemed to feel very strongly about it which is cool! I think the exact location pick up and drop off will be a great selling point, especially for just one extra dollar! An issue you may come across is staffing drivers for this service so definitely keep that in mind! overall, great job.

ReplyDeleteGreat pitch and a great idea. It seems like there have been a lot of on-campus transportation pitches, but I think yours by far has been the best. Everyone could afford a flat rate of $1, and I think that is definitely your competitive edge for sure. Great idea and great job communicating the details involved in your pitch. Best of luck!

ReplyDeleteI thought your idea was well thought out and an excellent. I tend to agree with the individuals in your post that feel that $1 is not enough. When you consider cost of upkeep of vehicles, licensing and taxes. You could quickly find yourself not making enough to employ the number of drivers that would be needed to service the needs of students at a major University. ReplyDeleteGreat job on the elevator pitch! It can be nerve-wracking but you handled it very well! However, I am concerned with the feasibility of this idea. Considering there are about 50,000 students, that gives about $50,000 to use toward your product. Buying two cars for this will push you over budget already, without even accounting for vehicle maintenance, gas, and driver salary. I think you may need to consider your budget for this. other than that, I like the idea! keep up the great work man. ReplyDeleteYour idea is great! However, maybe a little more research on funding and what your prospective budget should be is something I would recommend. Keeping mind of all the additional costs such as maintenance, taxes, gas, salary, etc. Other than that, I think your idea is innovative! Great job. Unfortunately I did not complete this assignment, so I cannot offer you a link to my pitch.

ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with your approach toward the assignment. I went and watched your pitch number 1 and in this video you seemed to be way more comfortable than you were the first time. The only problem I see with your pitch is the budget that is going into your product. I think you might spend a little more and not make as much as expected. Overall, you had a great post!
