Week 4 reading reflection
1. What was the biggest surprise about the reading? The biggest surprise for me would have to be the different trends that was discussed. Without the readings on the four major types of innovation I would never know about what they are and what one works best with each type of situation.
2. Identify one part of the reading that was confusing? I would not really say it was confusing but the four major types of innovation makes sense, I just wish there was more specific examples for me to be able to relate to so I could get a better grasp on it.
3. If I were able to ask the author two questions what would it be?
1) One of the questions would be the different takes on the trends and what the outcome would be.
2) And what is the best approach when it comes to taking one of the four major types of innovation. And the bases of them all.
4. was there anything that I thought the author was wrong about? No not at all I think the author did an amazing job with week four readings. The only thing I would ask is if we could get a little more in depth examples to get a better understanding on it.

Top 5 World Problems Week #4
top five most serious to least serious world problems.
1. Terrorism
2. U.S Debt
3. Unemployment
4. Increase in world's population
5. Availability of energy
Rank order of the solutions from most possible to least possible/
1. Terrorism- A solution would be to stop giving these terrorist the time of day and throwing everything they do on the world news. And send every special force operative in and get the job done where it is needed.
2. U.S Debt- A Solution would be to start taxing the top five percent more and start putting that towards the debt. Stop buying so much from other countries and make more in country stuff.
3. Unemployment- A solution is to find the companies that can afford and still make profit and hire more people. The more people at work the more money we can get back and try to help the debt go down.
4. Availability of energy- A solution for more energy is use what we already have. We have so many different types of ways to make energy but most places choose to use the most expensive kind, or charge a ridiculous amount of money for a cheaper way of electricity.
5. Increase in world's population- There really is no way to stop the world's population from growing in today's day in age. People are going to have babies and the rate is going faster than the death rate. There really is not much we can do ethically and morally.

My top problem is terrorism and it was the most important because no matter what channel you turn to no matter who you talk to isis comes into play. If we need to stop them we need to exterminate them any way possible and any means necessary. The reason why I think the top solution will work is because there is literally no other way.

Identifying Local Opportunities week #3
1. Florida Shocked by wave of snow flurries-
http://www.tampabay.com/news/weather/florida-shocked-by-wave-of-snow-flurries/2262540
This article talks about that snow has reached even Florida. Talking about how the flakes coincide with a blizzard chugging through the Northeast. The problem in the story is that driving temperatures are below freezing, which becomes dangerous for drivers and others. Who has the problem is the people in Florida because we are not used to any snow at all.
2. As blizzards barrels to the east, airlines cancel more than 4,300 flights
http://www.tampabay.com/news/nation/millions-awake-to-more-snow-as-blizzard-barrels-to-the-east/2262535
This article talks about how millions of Americans awoke to heavy snow and blizzards. At some places over three feet of snow is piled up. Not only is there snow and hurricane-force winds, but the National Weather Service said that their is going to be over a half inch of ice. The problem in the story is that thousands and thousands of flights had to be canceled which affects not just the airlines themselves but the people that had to leave. The problem subsides with individuals and businesses. people could have been on a work trip and had to be back for work an important meeting. Business could not be fully staffed, and business do not make any money when there is such weather outside. For individuals it affects them because it could be that they only have a certain amount of time off and now that traveling is virtually impossible they will not be able to make it.
3. Deputies arrest Brandon man driving wrong way on providence road
http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/crime/deputies-arrest-brandon-man-driving-wrong-way-on-providence-road/2262534
Early Saturday morning police saw a car driving on the wrong side of the road on a busy street. The cops then caught up to him and once catching him the guy was showing signs of impairment. He was arrested with a blood alcohol level two times the legal limit. The problem in the story is that their already has been to many accidents and deaths in the Tampa Bay area with people driving on the wrong side of the road. Other drivers are at stake because of a man who is impaired driving on the wrong side of the road that can potentially hurt or kill other drivers.
4. Uber drivers plan another work stoppage at midnight saturday to protest Uber's low rates
http://www.tampabay.com/news/transportation/uber-drivers-plan-another-work-stoppage-at-midnight-saturday-to-protest/2262480
The protests for the Uber drivers are being organized by the Tampa Bay ride-share steering committee. drivers drove through ybor city holding signs saying we can not drive for $.65 and Veterans can not support families on $.65. The new rule from Uber is that the new fare is 65 cents a mile. Uber is still a lot cheaper than a cab. Cabs in the Tampa bay area is $2.40 per mile and Uber was $1.80 until this new mileage cost. The problem is that Uber drivers are protesting because Uber already takes 20 to 25 percent of the bill and the driver is left with the rest. the drivers are at risk for high milage on their cars and not that much money in their pocket. If the protesting continues it will start to hurt not only the drivers but Uber themselves.
5. Teen arrested for having a knife at Azalea Middle school
http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/crime/teen-arrested-for-having-a-knife-at-azalea-middle-school/2262470
This school is only 10 minutes from my house. The teen was only fourteen years of age that was arrested friday after showing the knife to a classmate. The kid was only in seventh grade and when the deputies found him he had a list of names on him as well. The problem with this story is that the media portrays these school threats and shooting so much that these kids that might have a bad day or do not like someone think it is something that already has been done so why not now again. Who is at stake? Not just the kid who now has a felony at such a young age but the other students and the teachers are at risk. They need to make better regulations with safety when it comes to schools in Pinellas County.

Week 3 reading reflection Week #3
The biggest surprise for me in the readings was where the opportunities arise and how they arise. I never realized that unmet needs come from new laws, regulations, demographic changes, underserved markets, social trends, and resource changes. What was most confusing to me was the entrepreneurial stress? I did not know they had their own type of stress. I figured out that entrepreneurs need to be aware of their particular personality. If I were able to ask the author two questions they would be, how is the entrepreneurial fear any different than small business owners or just regular people at a regular job? Is it true that you're either highly creative or highly intelligent? but not both as high as the other one? I can not say there is anything that I disagree with the author about. All of his writing is thorough and well planned out.

Very short Interview No.1 Week # 3
The entrepreneur I had interviewed was Whitney Spence. What makes her an entrepreneur is that she owns her own dance studio for over 14 years. She was an olympic dancer and after her competing days she decided to dedicate her life to the sport and open up her own studio.
1. Was it hard to start and actually run your business? It was extremely difficult at the beginning because no one knows the business yet and you still have to pay the bills until you start building clientele.
2. What should my expectation be in this course? You should be ready to learn all of the key essentials of the business side of being an entrepreneur. I would do anything to go back and take more classes like this to make myself more knowledgeable about becoming my own boss.
3. What does it mean to be an entrepreneur? For me it means being my own boss, working hard for myself because I know what I want to accomplish. It is not as easy as a lot of people perceive it to be. It takes countless hours and stress to make a business make it.
4. What do you think I should learn in an entrepreneurship course? I would say what you should learn is the difference between owning your own business and running it as well. People get that confused sometimes. You're not only the owner of your company but also the manager, the employee, and the CEO. IT gets hard at times.
5. Do you wish you would have been taught more in school about entrepreneurship before going out on your own? Of course I do, it would have made things a lot easier on me. When I started I did not really know anything about running my own business and that is where it gets really tricky. If you already have a background in this field and can get educated on it, it could become fairly easy.
I really liked interviewing Mrs. Spence because I like to hear others stories about how their business started out and how difficult it was. What really surprised me about this short interview was that she was entirely right! You are not just the owner of your company you are the employee and the manager. When running your own business it is all on you to make the best of decisions. After this interview I realized how important this class will be for me and my future endeavours.

World's Biggest Problems Week # 3
The top 10 world's biggest problems
1. A food crisis. Food crisis happens when access to the right quantities and quality of food and nutrition become scarce or unreliable.
* one way to fix this is to make the right coast or the right place to grow everything necessary to survive.
2. Terrorism in the world. As we all know the terrorist group called ISIS is affecting the world with all of their disgusting behaviors and believes.
* One way to stop them is to join people to help fight these guys or to stop giving them the attention they want all around the world. Personally me and my friend that is ex military already looked into how to go over there and fight against them.
3. Refugees fleeing syria. It is a problem because they are trying to enter anywhere they can. And with America they are trying to get into here when we do not have enough room as it is.
* one way we could stop this is to let them in but every refugee that is 18 or older and is a male has to join the United States military to help fight against these people they are running from. After doing their minimum service themselves and their family or more than welcome to stay here.
4. The U.S debt. We are over 6 trillion dollars in debt with other countries mostly China. Which affects our economy, and what that does to our American dollar is terrible.
* One way to fix this problem is to start taxing the top 5 percent more instead of giving them all of these breaks and write offs. That will slowly let the debt go down.
5. The water supply. Everyone is trying to use water for oil or using water to make other things work.
* one way to fix that is simple. Do more research and get all of the equations on how and what we can do without running out of water for the human race.
6. Unemployment. It has gotten better but if we end up letting all of these refugees and keep having our arms wide open they will start taking our jobs. It is already hard enough to find a good job anywhere already.
* one way to fix this is to have a harder background and educational check.
7. Armed conflict. Meaning war could be one of our biggest problems because of how expensive fighting and war causes us.
* one way to stop this is for us to stop getting our nose in everyone's business. I get we have to help people out because that is what we do. But we do not need to get into every fight just because someone did something that we did not like to see.
8. The economic situation. If you look greece already had to shut down all of their banks because they can not afford anything anymore. 16 percent of Europe believe that the global economy is its single biggest hurdle today.
* one way to help this is to have everyone come together and give them something. Germany already did that giving them a substantial amount of Euros.
9. Availability of energy. With the amount of different ways that energy can be produced is fine but the coast to make them or to have it as a big quantity is hard to come by.
* one way to fix this is to lower the coast to the energy sources.
10. The increase in global population. Right now people are having kids faster than people are dying.
* one way to fix this is to start monitoring the growth rate of the population. realizing the amount of space we have.

Reading Reflection Week #2
Some of the biggest surprises that I found in the readings was all of the myths of being an entrepreneurship. The one that surprised me the most was myth 6: all entrepreneurs need is money. Before reading the chapters I always figured the first step is to starting one's own company is money. One part of the readings that was a little confusing to me was the entrepreneurial cognition. One of my questions to the other would have to be, does a person need all of the cognition mentioned on page 32? Another question would be how do we know that all of these are myths could none of these come into play more often than not? In my opinion I do not think the other was wrong about anything in the readings, I just question some of the myths and how entrepreneurs do not need these certain aspects to either start or continue to run their business.
Bug List Week #2
The Bug List.
1. Everytime I go to the gym someone is on the machine I need to use and just talks the whole time while I sit there and wait.
*This bug exists because when I am in the gym I try and get everything done within a reasonable time.*
2. This bug might be weird to people but what bugs me is when people sneeze extremely loud right next to me.
* This bug exist because most of the time I am getting interrupted in the middle of a conversation by the sneeze*
3. Lieng!! I hate being lied to.
* Catching people in a lie is the worse and it is one of my biggest pet peeves.*
4. Rush hour traffic while I have somewhere to be.
* This bug exists because I am never late and I never want to be, so when traffic slows me down it bothers me.*
5. Another bug of mine is when people try to talk over me in the middle of a conversation/
* This bug exists because I feel that it is not professional or nice to talk over or interrupt people during a conversation.
6. Doing things at the last second. This is a major bug of mine and I do it to myself the majority of the time.
* This bug exists because I tend to wander off and do other activities instead of doing the tasks at hand.*
7. Presenting oneself image.
* This bug exists because I believe everyone should look presentable in front of the right people such as employers and family.
8. Biggest bug of mine is manors, when people do not hold doors for other people, or do not say thank you for anything.
* This exists because I have had way too many occasions when this happened to me.*
9. Treating people without respect.
* This bug only exist because I was raised to respect everyone until proven otherwise.*
10. Getting homework or work assignments at the last minute.
* This exist because I like to be prepared for the task at hand and the next one.*
11. Having to perform something on the spot.
* things at the last minute sometimes put me under too much pressure unless its sports.*
12. Cheating in sports.
* when people cheat in a sports match or battle it is morally wrong.*
13. cheating in school.
* it's not just morally wrong it is illegal.*
14. Getting honked at a red light when in reality it is the person in front of me that has not moved yet.
*It tests my patience when people get antsy on the road.*
15. Getting cheap shotted while I fight in the ring.
*When people throw shots that are cheap or illegal makes me want to snap.*
16. When my computer freezes up while I am in the middle of an assignment or doing something important.
* I guess I am impatient when it comes to technological difficulties.*
17. Another bug of mine would be getting cold. I am born and raised in Florida I love the heat.
* I guess I just never have liked the cold.*
18. When my internet cuts out while doing homework or watching a show.
* the inconvenience it has on my day gets to me.*
19. When drive thrus take to long.
*I get impatient when it comes to waiting awhile for food.*
20. While in a drive through and after I leave I figure out half my order is missing.
* I get annoyed when I pay money for the food and service and only get half.*
Reflection: I found writing the bug list extremely difficult. The reason why I found it difficult was because on a regular basis I do not find myself thinking about or reflecting the twenty bugs. I had to think hard on why and what where my twenty bugs. I knew I had a few bugs but not this many. I am glad I did this assignment because it let me see all of the bugs that I truly have.

My Entrepreneurship Story week #2
A time in my life where I have been exposed to entrepreneurship is just about seven months ago when my older brother and I created and ran our own company. One day my brother and I were sitting around and came up with an idea to make custom gun holsters and sell them online and to gun shops. We laughed for a few days and finally we started it. Brothers in Arms was the name of our company. To this day we have skyrocketed selling all around the United States personally and professionally.
The reason why I enrolled in ENT 3003 is to further my knowledge about owning and running my own company. What I hope to get out of this class is the true meaning of entrepreneurship and how to become an even more successful one.
Introduction Week #2

A Little something about myself is that I have traveled the world fighting. I am a martial artist that loves to get inside the ring and finish business. Some places that I have been that stands out to me is Puerto Rico, Canada, Las Vegas, and California.
